Description

Fas Ligand (FasL) is a member of the TNF-α superfamily that is expressed on the cell surface of activated T cells. FasL induces the apoptotic cell death of cells bearing Fas Receptor (CD95) and plays a critical role in immune system homeostasis, cell-mediated killing and termination of an immune response.
