Description

Macrophage inflammatory protein-3-beta, MIP-3?, also known as chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19, CCL19, is a member of the CC chemokine family and is expressed primarily by stromal cells in the T cell rich zones of lymph nodes. MIP-3 beta acts as a chemoattractant for the trafficking of naive T cells and activated dendritic cells into the secondary lymphoid organs through the G protein-coupled receptor CCR7.
