Description

Q-VD-OPH is a cell permeable peptide which binds irreversibly to the catalytic site of intracellular enzymes known as caspases, which are critical for induction of cellular apoptosis. The binding of Q-VD-OPH to caspases inhibits the activity of ≥≥these proteases, so that these peptide compounds are commonly used to inhibit the progression of apoptosis in vitro.
